Dog of The Week

It gives me great pleasure to announce that this weeks’ Walking Paws Dog Of The Week goes to Sandy. Sandy has been the most accommodating and resilient boy, he’s been introduced to 2 new dogs and continues to build relationships with others while travelling in the WalkingPawsmobile.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to gather any live footage of Sandy’s reaction to this news as he was asleep! However we do have footage of him out in the field and he did allow us a very quick interview before his dinner….

WalkingPaws – ‘tell me Sandy, while you wait for your rosette to arrive, do you have any words on your victory, how does it feel to be the first dog to achieve this prestigious award?’

Sandy – ‘well I’m lost for words, mainly because I don’t have a verbal language but I will say this….it has come as a surprise, I wasn’t aware such awards were given out, I feel honoured to obtain the first one….

Rachael keeps me well supplied with treats out in the field and tickles in the WalkingPawsmobile and to be quite honest with you, you can tell a lot about a dog from the person they keep, so all of the four legged friends I have met must be great because they hang out with Rachael, so who wouldn’t get on with them?’

Sandy – ‘you’re welcome, dentastix?’
