Dog of the Week

It once again gives me great pleasure to award this weeks’ Walking Paws Dog of the Week to Johnnie.

Johnnie has been our longest member of Walking Paws and has shown consistent behaviour all round, we weren’t able to get any footage of Johnnie when he received the news and his award, however, we were able to have a quick word with him.

Walking Paws – Congratulations Johnnie on this momentous occasion, you must be very proud.

Johnnie – Yes I am, to be honest with you, I didn’t realise such an award was up for grabs so I was very surprised.

Walking Paws – This is always a question we like to ask our winners, what is it that you think you did to earn such an award?

Johnnie – Well, Rachael an I over recent walks have been working together very well, we are undertaking a new project at the moment to re-establish a path around the field that we frequent most days, this is since the farmer for reasons best known to himself has ploughed the field too close to the edge, leaving us little room to walk.

Walking Paws – That sounds like a big task to take on, what does it involve?

Johnnie – Rachael has told me I have to stomp really hard on the earth balls to flatten them, I have a distinct advantage over her given that I have four feet and she only has two but I’ve been quite polite over this fact as it need not be voiced.

Walking Paws – That is very respectful of you Johnnie and I must say your english is remarkable

Johnnie – Thank you

Walking Paws – You’re welcome, what a lovely chap you are, you clearly deserve this award.

Johnnie – Now if you’ll just excuse me I have some sleeping to do!
